Chapter 5

In this chapter, the Time Traveller frantically searches for his time machine, which appears to be hidden or stolen, and he greatly fears that he will be stuck in the future. He meets a female Eloi named Weena, and she accompanies him on his search for the machine. The Time Traveller soon stumbles upon another type of creature called Morlocks, whom only live in the dark. He sees that they live underground and have a very complex society He really contemplates on who is the superior race: Eloi or Morlocks, and he wonders on how over type two distinct species have appeared. When he tries asking his new friends Wenna about it, she simply cries which leaves the Time Traveller more confused.
