Chapter 7

In this chapter, the Time Traveller gets out of shock of his near death experience and he and Weena continue still their journey in search of the time machine. When nightfall comes, he fears that they will be spotted by the Morlocks and surely attacked, so he keeps up most of the night, protecting Weena and staring at the stars. Even after thousands of years, the stars remain constant, and they make him feel more secure and safe. In the morning though, it dawns on him that the meat he saw in the Morlocks cave was Eloi meat. Frightened, he sets out to find his machine more quickly so he and Weena can go back to his time.
